1986 Political sciences and language graduate from Svendborg Gymnasium.

1988 Matriculated at Aarhus Universitet, geology. Supplementary courses in mathematics, physics and chemistry.

1989 Graduated from supplementary courses in mathematics, physics and chemistry. First general part of the studies in geology started.

1991 First general part of the studies in geology finished.

1992 Bachelor of Sciences in Marine geology, basin analysis.

1992 ERASMUS stay at Laboratoire de Geodynamique Sous-Marine, Villefranche sur mer, France. 9 months. Projects: installation and testing of Seismic Processing Workshop, including processing of line MT12, Ivory Coast-, Ghana-margin. Report concerning the structures in the acoustic basement in the Iberian abyssal plain.

1994 January. Finishing second part of the courses in geology.

February. Started working on the master's thesis "A seismic Study of the Hellenic trench System (Eastern Mediterranean)" in corporation with Laboratoire de Geodynamique Sous-Marine, Villefranche sur Mer, France.

From April to August stay at Laboratoire de Geodynamique Sous-Marine, Villefranche sur Mer, France. Processing and interpretation of data relevant to the master's thesis.

December. 3 weeks stay at Laboratoire de Geodynamique Sous-Marine, Villefranche sur Mer, France preparing the manuscript: Evidence of recent Strike-Slip Motion in the Western Hellenic Trench System. (The Matapan Trench, Eastern Mediterranean).

1995 Marts. Participation at the CIESM (Comision Internationale Pour L'Exploration Scientfique de La Mer Méditerranée) Congres 34, Valletta, Malta.
June. Examination and defence of the master's Thesis.

October. Obtained a position as geophysicist in CGG Norge, Branch of Compagnie Générale de Geophysique

1996 April.Project leader in marine procesing (2D, 3D), AVO, Prestack-time migration,

1996 October. Assigned to SUBSEACO (6 months) for implementing Geovecteur+ for onboard QC and processing in OBC 2d and 3d 4-component seismic.

1998 April. Technical advisor in marine processing for CNPS, Pemex, Villahermosa, Mexico.

Field work

1991 5 weeks as student assistant in glaciology for Niels Tvis Knudsen at Austre Okstind Bre, Norway.

1992 September. Preparing the geophone array for the SISBALIG refraction survey in the southern Alps (land and marine aquisition).

1993 March. Participation in a reflection seismic survey in the eastern Mediterranean as co-responsible for the on-board processing. On the R/V Nadir. Duration one month.

1994 Student assistant with processing of reflection seismic data from the East Greenland Shelf (EG93).

2 weeks of field work for Geoteam, testing new vibroseismical methods and ocean bottom cables (OBC) in Knebel Vig, Denmark.

1997 Aquisition of 3D-4C-component in the North Sea, as resposible for QC and on-board processing CGG, SUBSEACO.Duration two months.

Council work

1990-92 Student representative in Geologisk Studienævn, Aarhus universitet (student council).

1996-98 President of the social club of CGG Norge, responsable for arrangement and economy for social events.

Teaching

1994 Teaching of engineer students from Chalmers Tekniska Högskola, Göteborg in processing and interpretation of reflection seismic data.

1996 Teaching of CGG tecnical marine personal in QC and preliminary processing.
